Such a wonderful place to trust for your pets. We have two dogs, while traveling from Istanbul to Washington, we needed to cdc check and approval. We were super nervous and they answered all of our questions right away, super responsive. They helped us from beginning until the end, always friendly and kind. Especially Sami was very helpful and responsive, John was transported kindly and took pictures of our dogs, sent us after an hour. We were super happy next day, our dogs were relaxed, well treated and happy. Bigs thanks to all team members! We will always prefer them if we need next time.

Pender was the only part of traveling with my dog that I genuinely enjoyed. The process was incredibly stressful — my vet made mistakes, I missed some documents, and there were several moving pieces to coordinate — but Pender was always one step ahead. Their communication was excellent, and they consistently made sure I understood what was needed to make my dog’s move as successful and smooth as possible. Craig, who managed my case, was outstanding. Pender has an incredible structure in place: you’re first introduced to the process by a Customer Service Representative, then Craig takes over and handles the case with experience and expertise. On the day of travel, the driver who picked up my dog was just as friendly, professional, and communicative as the rest of the team. What stood out most was that their communication never felt like generic templates. Every email felt personal and thoughtful, showing that they truly cared about my pet and understood how stressful this process can be for owners. When I brought our boy Bodhi in for his temperament evaluation the first thing I noticed was how clean it smelled inside and looked. The staff was very friendly and answered my questions. I was told what to expect, and how he would be introduced to the facility and the other dogs. I was given a call in the afternoon and told how Bodhi's interaction went with the other dogs, along with his general behavior. I am so pleased to have found out about the Pender Facility. All the (controlled environment) outdoor time for him is what I am most excited about. I will start introducing him to the facility in the coming weeks.

We were gone 11 days and we boarded our dogs in the Executive suite. Because one of our dogs is on medication for seizures, we felt good that someone is always on site 24/7. We could also see them on camera anytime and they were located in the main building, which we much preferred. The executive suites are expensive, but we planned ahead and made it work in our budget. We liked that the staff was very responsive to emails and phone calls. That was reassuring. In fact, the camera feed wasn’t working at one point and we reached out and were given exact steps to take and it was working again in no time. If I had to find a negative, it would be that when we picked up our dogs, it was so business-like, which was okay, but it would’ve been so nice to hear something personal about their experience after 11 days of having them there. The personal touch goes a long way with us dog people! We love when our dogs can come with us on trips or stay at home with a personal sitter, but when that doesn’t work out, we will definitely use Pender again.
