Training Programs

Pender Puppy Pack – The Pender Puppy Pack is for puppies aging from 12-20 weeks old and is a 3 day per week program for four weeks. This program focuses on socialization, potty training, crate training, and puppy play time! The Pender Puppy Pack includes daily training updates, weekly homework, and communication with Ashley.
Puppy Pawfect Start – Our Puppy Pawfect Start Board & Train program is designed to give your pup the best start in life through a fun, structured, and enriching environment. During their stay, puppies will engage in supervised socialization with other dogs, learning essential communication skills and confidence-building through play. Basic obedience training, including sit, stay, recall, and leash manners, is introduced in a fun and engaging way, ensuring a strong foundation for future learning. With plenty of playtime, activities, and one-on-one attention, your puppy will return home happier, well-adjusted, and ready to thrive in any environment.
Day School Training – Day School Training is just like it sounds and occurs daily, Monday- Friday, for two or three weeks. Each pup’s program length will be determined during an initial free consultation with Ashley. Day School focuses on sit, down, place, and leash manners. Homework assignments will be sent for you to continue training reinforcement at home in between sessions. An end-of-school private training session is also included. *Behavioral cases are not a good fit for the Day School Program and will be recommended a different plan of action.

Board & Train Bootcamp – In our most intensive option, your pup will stay with us at the Pet Retreat for at least 3 or 4 weeks, depending on your training goals. Training will focus on prioritizing the fulfillment of the dog and creating a more confident member of the family. Specific behavioral issues require a customized Board & Train package and need to be discussed with Ashley as those programs may need to be for a longer period of time.
Refresher Training – Has your pup been through a professional training program and you want them to have a bit of a reminder? Refresher training is a great way to include your training goals in your pup’s day at daycare. We will work with your dog for 30 minutes during their daycare day to target any specific training issue you have to help better their manners at home! A written report card will be given at pickup. (Must be scheduled with Daycare Management.)
