Off-leash Doggy Daycare at Pender Pet Retreat

We are very excited to announce the official launch of our newest program at Pender Pet Retreat at Dulles Gateway. Monday, December 4^th marked the first day of play for our Pender Pack Off-leash Daycare program in our brand new 2,800sqft. four-season pavilion outfitted with state-of-the-art pet-friendly astroturf and pawesome play equipment! Our Pender Pack is divided in to groups based on dog size/weight and all participants will have completed temperament testing and a thorough evaluation with our training team to ensure a safe and healthy environment for your furry babies. Celebrity dog trainer, Cesar Millan, says “[dogs who are] better socialized and exercised more frequently…will more likely to be well-behaved [overall].”

A Day at Daycare

A day at daycare will consist of a morning 2 – 2½ hour play session, 2 hours of individual nap and relaxation time midday, and another 2 – 2½ hour afternoon play session.

Drop-off will be between 7:00am and 9:30am each morning and pick-up will be between 4:30pm and 7pm each evening. All daycare arrivals and departures are invited to come to our NEW Daycare and Training reception area in our Annex building (first building on your right when you drive on to the property). As always, we are staffed 24-hours a day, so after-hours pick-up and drop-off will be available at $5 per ½ hour before 7am or after 7pm. Our off-leash daycare programs will also be available for pets while boarding with us, so don’t forget to add this great playtime on to your pet’s stay!

How to Join the Pack

To apply for off-leash daycare, we ask all pet parents to complete our easy online form, the first step in the evaluation process, by going to www.pendervet.com/penderpack . Once we receive your online application, our Daycare team will reach out to you to schedule a private temperament evaluation with your pet.
