My Personal Interests: I love baking, reading, and spending time with my family outdoors. If my four year old could spend all day outside, she would!

My first pet: My first pet was a little beagle mix named scooter who was the sweetest little dog a girl could hope for.

My current pets: A 6-year old boxer mix named Luna, an 8-year old rescue kitty named Skittles, and a recently adopted puppy named Chewy

Why I chose to work in this field: I grew up on a farm a little farther south in Virginia with everything from ducks to horses to dairy goats and I have always had a love of animals. I spent every summer growing up traveling around the state for 4-H with our animals and loved every minute of it, so it was a no-brainer to continue working with animals in my career.

Experience & Education: I have BA from Mary Baldwin College and have been with Pender for over 9 years, starting as a CSR and working my way into Finance.

I can honestly say I love what I do and my Pender family, and realize how wonderful a privilege it is to be able to say that!
